New Directions

Learner Surveys

We Asked, You Said, We Did!
In order to ensure that the service continues to meet the needs of local people we invite your views to help us improve our services.

In addition our funders also require learners to have a voice and for New Directions to show that customer opinions have been sought and acted upon.

Finally Ofsted who ensure we are meeting quality standards also want to ensure learners are consulted and have an impact on decisions made within the service.

In order to clarify what each survey is for, how it is used and when it runs New Directions has compiled the table below with concise details.

End of Learning Evaluation

New Directions

  • This survey gives you the chance to tell New Directions your views about our courses and how you feel about coming to us.
  • The survey informs New Directions of who accesses our services and ensures that we are not inadvertently discriminating against any group.
  • It looks at how learners are inducted to the service, their learner journey and their destinations.

End of Course

We’re particularly keen to hear from people who’ve benefitted from or know someone who has benefitted from adult education. There isn’t one type of person best suited to helping and you don’t need a qualification to do so. The most important qualities are an interest in adult education and a desire to contribute to the life of New Directions.

In return for your attendance New Directions will reimburse your travel expenses and provide refreshments.
