Ceramics – Throwing for Beginners/Improvers Course

This pottery throwing course for beginners/ Improvers is the perfect way to practice and embed the skills learned on the beginners course and develop further throwing techniques.

Through hands-on instruction, you will learn further fundamentals of throwing, centering, trimming and turning, and expand skills to throw more challenging forms.

As you progress, you’ll be guided through the basic stages of glazing and firing your pieces. The course will provide learners with the opportunity to practice and refine their skills in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere.

Topics covered: throwing, centering, trimming, turning, clay properties, basic glaze techniques.

All materials are provided. Please bring a sketchbook or notebook for idea development and taking notes.
